About Me

Hi, my name is Kristin. I was born in Brooklyn, NY and raised in a small town called Mahopac. Ive spent the majority of my life there. I played softball for a few years between middle school and high school. I have two sisters and one dog and I love spending time with them when I can. My family bought an old abandoned stone church when I was 13, and we turned it into our wine bar. I spent a good portion of my high school working every weekend with my family at the business in every postion from food prep, to dish washer, to waitress. It was a unique, difficult, and enjoyable bonding experience being able to work with my family, not just my parents and sisters, but also my aunts, uncles, and cousins.

After I graduated high school, I moved to Washington, DC where I received my Bachelors degree at The Catholic University of America. I began my time there as Computer Science major, but later swtiched to Media Studies. I also minored in Theology during my time there. I am currently pursuing a Masters in Digital Media at Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA. I am interesting in studying the role of empathy in video games and how it effects a players decisions.

I enjoy traveling with my family and friends. We have a time share in Aruba, and have spent many summers relaxing there. Paradise is only 4 hours away from NY! Drawing and illustrating have also always been a hobby of mine. I am also passionate about watching and studying films/tv. Some of my favorite series are Harry Potter, Star Wars, Game of Thrones, and Westworld. I also enjoy playing video games and reading in my spare time.
